Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB)
ACEs' President and CEO are both US Air Force retirees. We are a VA Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE) verified Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned Small Business. Federal Register Vol. 69, No. 87 dated May 5, 2004 authorizes set asides and sole source procurements for
•Sole Source SDVOSB contracts: Contractor must be responsible, there is not a reasonable expectation that two or more SDVOSB concerns will submit an offer, the anticipated contract price (including options) will not exceed $3 million and award can be made at a fair & reasonable price; or
•Set Aside SDVOSB contracts: There is a reasonable expectation that two or more SDVOSB concerns will submit an offer and can be made at a fair & reasonable price.
Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB)
ACEs' President is a woman, and the company is self-certified as a WOSB with the SBA. Federal Register Vol. 73, No. 191 dated October 1, 2008 authorizes set aside procurements for
•Set Aside WOSB contracts: the requirement is in an industry (designated by SBA) in which WOSBs are underrepresented; there is a reasonable expectation that two or more WOSB concerns will submit an offer; the anticipated contract price will not exceed $3 million; and award can be made at a fair & reasonable price.
